This house is one of only four houses that survived the June 23, 1780 Battle of Springfield (the last major northern conflict before Yorktown). While the British were moving from Staten Island to Morristown, on their way to capture Washington’s supplies, they were met with fierce resistance in Springfield. As the British retreated, they pillaged and burned the town. This house was likely saved because it was being used as a field hospital.
Today, this museum is maintained by the Springfield Historical Society, where you can see the famous cannonball along with rich 18th-19th century history.
We handcraft this house in 3/4" thick wood with a short story on the back. See Casper? He's lounging in an upstairs window, keeping watch over all the visitors.
