This Washington National Cathedral, located at 3101 Wisconsin Ave NW in Washington, DC. President Theodore Roosevelt helped lay the foundation stone when construction began in 1907 on this magnificent church. But construction was not completed until 83 years later, in 1990, when President George H.W. Bush watched the placing of the final stone on the towers.
This Episcopal Church is also known as the Cathedral Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul. You can visit, tour, and attend worship services here.
