This sculpture was completed in 1925 for Gloucester’s 300th anniversary. They that go down to the sea in ships, 1623-1923. To honor the lives of the brave fishermen lost at sea.
We handcraft this design on 3/4" thick wood in our Ohio workshop.
Casper, our black cat mascot, is lying there, honoring those lost at sea.
