By 2011, preservationists\/sisters Deborah Harvey and Priscilla Bledsaw purchased Boots and started restoration including a copy of the original neon sign. In 2021, Boot Court Foundation purchased the motel from Deborah and Priscilla and began extensive rehabilitation.
