This battle monument is located in the Saratoga National Historical Park in Schuylerville, New York.
Honoring the “turning point of America’s Revolutionary War”, this monument commemorates the bravery that led to the British surrender at Saratoga on October 17, 1777.
The cornerstone for this monument was laid on October 17, 1877, on the 100th anniversary of the American victory. And finally, on October 17, 1912, it was officially dedicated on the 135th anniversary of Burgoyne’s surrender.
We handcraft this replica from 3/4" thick wood with colorful details on the front and its story on the back.
You'll find Casper, our black cat mascot, sitting in the grass, taking in the grandeur of the monument.
