Mystic Seaport Lighthouse On the point at the south end of the Museum grounds stands a copy of the ca. 1900 lighthouse at Brant Point in Nantucket, site of the second operative lighthouse in New England, built in 1746. The Mystic Seaport Lighthouse, like the original on Nantucket, contains a fourth-order Fresnel lens.
