As the tenth most visited National Park in 2025, 3.14 million people visited Glacier National Park.

In 1891, the Great Northern Railway began construction of the railroad across Montana to connect Seattle, Washington to St. Paul, Minnesota.  In the process the community of Belton was established.  The depot began as two box cars on a track.  Then around 1906 to 1910 a small building was constructed on site.  As tourism grew in the area during the "American Alps" ad campaign, the depot's building was enlarged to accommodate the influx of guests.  The buidling was later donated to the Glacier National Park Conservancy in 1991.

All aboard!  Whisker me away on the choo choo train!  Look closely, and you'll find Casper, our black cat mascot, peeking through the engineer's window. He is the sign of an authentic Cat’s Meow.

This keepsake is hand-crafted from ¾” thick wood with a detailed front design and a short description on the back. You can set it neatly on a shelf, desk or narrow ledge such as window, door trim, or wainscoting. Group it with other Cat’s Meows to create your own memory of the special places you have visited.
