The "Thunderbirds" is the air demonstration squadron of the United States Air Force. They are based at Nellis AFB, Nevada. They tour the US performing aerobatic feats for thrilled crowds. The Thunderbirds fly an average of three feet apart and travel at a maximum speed of 425 knots during a demonstration.
