Located on the boardwalk in downtown Ocean City, since 1981 these beautiful creations have been sculpted by local artist Randy Hofman. The sculptures Hofman creates requires and entire day to create. What talent and dedication!
Hofman creates the sculptures with water, a plastic knife, and biodegradable glue. The glue creates a sort of crust over the sand sculptures that protect them from the wind and rain. The finalized sculptures last about a month.
