Umpqua River Light was the first lighthouse to grace the coast of Oregon. It was located at Winchester Bay for the growing shipping center due to the harvesting of timber.
Our lighthouse is inspired by the USPS 2007 Pacific Coast lighthouse stamps.
Look for Casper, our black cat mascot, sunning himself by the front steps in the warm sand.
