The American Black Bear male (boars) and female (sows) range in weight between 100 to 300 pounds. At birth, a cub will weight between seven ounces to one pound. Their life expectency in an unhunted population can be up to 30 years.
We've included our black cat mascot, Casper, at this black bear's feet. He is the sign of an authentic Cat's Meow.
