Even our scarecrow is celebrating America 250 this year, all decked out in red, white, and blue. Miss Eliza is keeping the critters out of the pumpkin patch, but the crows kept pulling out her straw hair until she borrowed a bonnet from a neighbor down the road.
Casper, our cute little black cat mascot, is not leaving Eliza's side. He promised he'd take care of the field mice.
