The Powell-Hyde Cabe Car Passes Russian Hill on Lombard Street, "The Crookedest Street in the World." Paved in brick, the street makes eight turns in one block and is lined with colorful flowers. It was constructed in 1922 to reduce the hill's 27% grade that made it too steep for driving and walking.
