West Quoddy Lighthouse, in Quoddy Head State Park, Lubec, Maine, is the easternmost point of the contiguous United States. Since 1808, there has been a lighthouse there to guide ships through the Quoddy Narrows.
The current lighthouse, built in 1858, with the red and white tower, is the only "candy striped" tower in the United States and is still an active aid to navigation.
Handcrafted by our small workshop crew in Wooster, Ohio, this replica is made from 3/4" thick wood with colorful details on the front and a little description on the back.
Look for Casper, our black cat mascot, keeping a watchful eye on the seagulls, pawsibly waiting for some scraps to be dropped! He's the sign of an authentic Cat's Meow!
